Covid - CSI Wuhan

If there's ever going to be a 'smoking gun' this is it.

How many criminals can you think of that have been convicted because the police arrived at the crime scene and found the murder weapon lying there with the smoke still coming out the barrel - the famous smoking gun?  Criminals are convicted on the strength of ‘circumstantial evidence’: They had the means, the motive, they had known - even worked with - the victim, their finger prints were all over the scene, they were seen leaving the building at the time the victim died, were wearing a mask and carrying a bag with ‘swag’ stencilled on the side, all of it ‘circumstantial’.  Circumstantial evidence is what every episode of CSI-wherever is built upon.

Yet when it comes to one of the most world altering events of the last decade, all the evidence that has accumulated, and it there is more than enough of it to create a whole season of ‘CSI Wuhan’, has been pooh poohed and dismissed as ‘circumstantial’ as if that meant it was no better than baseless rumour.  

Do we know for absolute ‘certain’? No. Do we have incontrovertible scientific proof? No. Do we have enough to convict the perpetrators in a court of law on the basis of balance of probabilities or even the higher bar of ‘beyond reasonable doubt’? Yes. In my opinion and that of a very large number of well informed scientists and educated researchers, the answer to both is ‘yes’. 

In this pod cast I introduce the ‘almost a smoking gun’ evidence that has recently come to light. In fact it is two pieces, each of which on its own is not conclusive but which, like nitro and glycerine, when combined, are explosive.  I’m not the only person to notice this. The first is a paper by Bruttel, Washburn and VanDongen which was published in 2022. The second was a research proposal called Project DEFUSE brought to light by Emily Kopp of U.S. Right to Know. Project DEFUSE applied to DARPA the U.S. military research funder for $14 million. The project was a joint Chinese and American project led by led by Peter Daszak of EcoHealth Alliance, Shi Zhengli from the Wuhan Institute of Virology and Ralph Baric of the University of North Carolina. The DEFUSE proposal was to make in the lab a novel ‘man-made’ Covid virus by assembling 6 genetic segments including one which added a Furin cleavage site into the virus.  This is exactly the structure they found - identical in virtually ever aspect - when they analysed SARS CoV-2 in the 2022 paper..

The fit between what the 2022 paper found and what Project DEFUSE had previously proposed is so uncanny they are like a lock and key. I describe this fit between what was proposed and what was later found, and then in an interview with Gilles Demaneuf of the DRASTIC group, we begin to lay out the foolish, not to mention morally corrupt litany of lies, half truths and suppressed facts that have ben used to obscure what actually happened in Wuhan. Lies which the guilty parties have hidden behind for years now.  

It is time to stop being bullied by those shouting ‘Where is the smoking gun?’ and instead convict in absentia those who have thought - and still think - the law cannot touch them.  And then we should begin to tell the CSI Wuhan story of what actually happened.  Here is a start. Over the next months I hope to lay out a blow by blow account of what the evidence shows really happened, who was involved, what they did and didn’t, who was told to shut up and by whom, what lies were then told, who knowingly defended the lies and why.  This is just a start.
